As a child I could spend hours lost in a world where there was order
and beauty. With my trusty binoculars and bird book, nothing escaped
my curiosity. I was in love with everything about birds and I was happy.

As I got older, life grew busy and I forgot that beautiful secret world and
how incredibly grounding it was for me. It wasn’t until one summer’s day
while enjoying a coffee on the porch, relaxing, did I get my wake up call.

A Goldfinch landed on my shoulder. At first I was stunned; had this fragile creature lost its mind? What could it mean?

I had daily visits until I finally “got the message”! I realized that I had been given a wonderous gift. I could interpret the messages that these beautiful creatures had to share with the “two-leggeds”.

I felt the absolute pleasure of feeling grounded again, and now inspired, had found the confidence in getting started. I could help others discover their love and compassion for themselves and each other, by creating something interactive and beautiful.

The Bird Cards are exactly that. I enlisted the help of a local artist Caroline Sweet, who brought the messages to life with her delightful illustrations. It was important to me that people connect with these images. We designed them with instructions so that each person could colour in their own deck.

Now bird lovers and those who are open to exploring new pathways can equally enjoy the benefits of these incredible cards.

In the midst of the chaos created by our busy, stressful lives you will find these messages quite grounding. It is my hope that these birds become as special to you as they are to me, and that their messages touch your heart .
